After opening the member record, follow these steps to generate and download an Assessment Packet for your audit.
From the member record, select the Packet Log icon from the left-hand navigation menu.
This will open the Packet Log page where previously generated packets and their statuses can be reviewed.
Select Generate Packet in the upper-right corner of the Packet Log screen.
From the available packet types, select Assessments.
Click Begin Packet Design.
Review the active eligibility displayed at the top of the screen.
If you need to include assessments tied to previous eligibility periods, check the Include Inactive Eligibilities box.
The default date range is one year. Adjust the From Date and To Date fields if a different audit period is required.
Note: Guiding Care can only generate one year of assessment data at a time. If your audit requires a longer period, generate additional packets using different date ranges.
Under Assessment Status, open the drop-down menu.
Select all available statuses:
Completed
Pending
Cancelled
Selecting all statuses ensures that no assessments are omitted from the packet.
Under Script Name, open the drop-down menu.
Select all available script names listed for the member.
This ensures every assessment type completed during the selected date range is included in the packet.
Click Next.
Review the categories displayed and ensure the desired assessment categories are selected.
Click Apply & Generate Packet.
You will be returned to the Packet Log screen.
The newly created packet will initially display a status of In Queue or In Progress.
Select Refresh periodically until the packet status changes to Completed.
Once the packet status shows Completed:
Click the three-dot menu beside the completed packet.
Select Download.
Save the generated PDF packet to your computer.
The packet will contain all assessments matching the selected eligibility, date range, statuses, and script types, making it suitable for audit review.
