Removing Deceased, Disenrolled, or Transferred Members from My Members Widget
Problem Statement
Users report that deceased, disenrolled, or transferred-out members are still showing in the My Members widget. These members are flagged with a red exclamation mark next to their name.
Cause
This behavior is expected.
In GuidingCare, when a member’s eligibility is expired, terminated, or deceased, the system displays a red exclamation mark. However, the member will not automatically disappear from the My Members widget.
To fully remove them, the member must be manually unassigned from the Care Team.
Solution
Unassign the member from the Care Team to remove them from My Members.
Steps to Resolve
-
Log in to the GuidingCare application.
-
Search and access the member’s record.
-
Navigate to Care Team.
-
Select the Care Staff and click Edit.
-
Enter an End Date (this unassigns the member).
-
Click Update.
-
Confirm that the member is no longer displayed in the My Members widget.
Reference
Red exclamation marks indicate termed, transferred, or deceased status. Removal requires manual unassignment from the Care Team.
